LoRaWAN Network
The SWIFt testbed includes low-power wide-area network (LPWAN) capabilities together with other cutting edge connectivity technologies. More specifically, the network protocol that was provisioned is LoRaWAN, which is designed to connect wirelessly resource-constrained devices to the internet over very long distances at very low power.

What is IOT?
The Internet of things (IoT) describes physical objects that are embedded with sensors, processing ability, software, and other technologies that connect and exchange data with other devices and systems over the Internet or other communications networks.
